Margaret Jones Hagelman has been practicing law in Texas for 26 years. She is a seasoned attorney and excellent advocate, communicator, manager, and mentor. Prior to her legal career, Margaret was president of a multi-million Dollar department store. She completed undergraduate degrees and Law School with honors. She was a single mom law student, with her three children in tow. They ranged in age from four to eight when Margaret commenced Law School. Simply put, Margaret imposes standards of excellence on herself and achieves just that.
A native of Laredo, Texas, Margaret’s first language is Spanish. She is not only fluent in the Spanish language, but in Latino culture, as well. She received her JD from Saint Mary’s School of Law with honors in 1999. She is a proud Longhorn, having received her BS from the University of Texas, also with honors, in 1981.
Margaret’s enjoys reading, traveling, gardening, and needlework. Her favorite time is spent with her husband, children and three grandsons.
