Steeves Hopson was born in Laredo and raised in San Antonio, Texas, by his mother alongside his two sisters. A proud graduate of Churchill High School, he earned his degree in Public Relations and Business Foundations from The University of Texas at Austin, followed by a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law—continuing his family’s legacy in the legal profession.

Steeves began his legal career practicing employment law before serving as an Assistant District Attorney for the Webb-Zapata County District Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor, he developed strong courtroom skills, trying a wide range of cases and later advocating for victims of child and sexual abuse in the Special Victims Unit. That experience deeply shaped his commitment to standing up for the vulnerable.

Today, Steeves channels that same passion into representing injured individuals and families across Texas. He approaches every case with empathy, creativity, and a tailored strategy—believing that no two cases or clients are alike. From the start, he builds each case with a custom plan designed to maximize results and put pressure on the defense, whether through settlement or trial.

Fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to Latino cultures, Steeves proudly serves a diverse community with respect and understanding.

Outside of the courtroom, Steeves enjoys spending time with his dog, Lobo, watching college football, attending live music events, and exploring new destinations.

He is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston.
